2012-12-04 Tuesday work notes
Danny MSSS engineer in for Q2B quad repair.
Kate's PC still fucked up, running some final Drive diagnostics before imaging the fucker and replacing it (hoping for the best).
Finished the frankenstein pc (one from three dead ones)
Ordered bench for the Q-Exactive
Talked at length with Kevin the Sparky about options for moving the ultracentrifuge, but longer cable uses thicker conductor, etc. Consensus is wait it out.
Loosened the front seals on the Akta Prime FPLC and tested flow. Seemed fine, but sure the users will botch things up.
Cherine has a jogging club sweatshirt, for what that's worth.
